Project Manager -
Recruitment creative
IMA Clinical Research is a site based clinical research company that partners with biopharma, CROs, and academic institutions, to facilitate clinical trials within their nationwide network. My role was originally Senior Graphic Designer but was promoted to Project Manager - Recruitment Creative.
CHALLENGES: Advertising for lead generation of potential participants for clinical research studies.
Meeting with the Director of Patient Recruitment we would figure out what imagery would work best  and generate the best reach for the potential patients. I would also meet with the copywriter to go over what the study was for and what was the target audience.
These are a few examples of Social Media ads that ran on the Meta platform. The ads were designed and laid out in Adobe Photoshop with post copy provided by a copywriter.
These are examples of flyers that were used at various site locations to provide potential patients with information of current and upcoming studies. These were all laid out in Adobe InDesign with all photo work being completed in Adobe Photoshop.
Most clinical research studies last for months, sometimes years. In this particular study I was able to get bus shelter ad space where the foot traffic would be heavy. These shelters were also picked on routes that the research site would be on to make travel easier for the potential patients. Placing these ads increased leads by 25%
Another example is this digital display, the vendor that runs these has the ability to place the ad over a series of locations from their central hub. These displays are typically outside of pharmacies, supermarkets and other high traffic areas. These displays gave us about a 10% lead increase.
Traditional methods of advertising would help us reach certain demographics. In this particular case the age range required for the study was college students. We ran an ad in the college newspaper to reach out to the population with positive results of around 20%
Through the Gloom Facebook community was created to build a database of potential participants for our depression trials. Quotes were taken from various sources, the graphics were all developed with Adobe Photoshop. The overall shares hit 200+ on most of the posts.
